Web design work created while I was an Interactive Designer at ATTIK—the advertising and digital agency of record for Scion.com at the time. The scope of work I created for the website included homepage marquee artwork and custom page designs for new cars and brand campaigns.
All work featured here was created for the desktop version of Scion.com. The mobile website was handled by a separate agency with an entirely different design.
Both cars were not shot in environments due to budget constraints, so I sourced stock photos that matched the angle of the car images as closely as possible to create campaign imagery for the landing pages.
I retouched the backgrounds to simplify details and increase contrast which provided areas for the type to sit and be as legible as possible.
The xB Release Series 10.0 was not shot in a real environment, so the Creative Director and I created a digital collage using stock photography for the key artwork.
Day and night scenes were developed to showcase the features of the limited edition car. Iridescent paint during the day and the projected glow of a Scion logo at night.
